It is said that many years ago, an old lady moved to this valley from Scotland. Eager to make her new home feel a little more like her old one, she planted lavender for as many steps as she could take from her cabin and back. As the winter grew colder and stronger than the woman could manage, she relented to the snow and ice, but the next spring, her lavender grew all over the valley and does every year until this day.
Oil on prepared paper. 6”x8”. Painting only - frame not included.
